Offered expert guidance on data modeling, system architecture, and research methodology. Dr. Ganna ensured the platform met rigorous academic and technical standards throughout development.
Nine dedicated team members who designed, developed, and deployed every feature of this platform.
Led the full project lifecycle, coordinated team workflows, and ensured on-time delivery of all milestones for the SmartWaste platform.
Built the core backend API using Node.js & Express, and developed key frontend pages including the citizen reporting system.
Designed the visual identity, user interface mockups, and the complete design system used across all pages of the platform.
Designed the MongoDB database schema, implemented Mongoose models, and optimized all data queries for performance and reliability.
Managed the deployment pipeline on Vercel, configured environment variables, and ensured continuous integration with GitHub.
Integrated Leaflet.js interactive maps, GPS geolocation features, and the real-time waste report location system in the admin dashboard.
Implemented all analytics charts using Chart.js, including the waste composition doughnut chart, trend analysis, and collection efficiency gauges.
Implemented JWT-based authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure API middleware for the platform.
Wrote technical documentation, conducted system testing across all user roles, and prepared the final project presentation and report.
